The amusement park was beyond amazing. Pagsud namo , wala kaayuy tawo I think because it was a weekday . I looked around ug nag heart heart gyd akong mata sa mga rides, sa colorful nga mga booths , everything seemed magical. This was the place I was dying to go to since I was young and I'm here now. Na teary eye ko.
Micheal : Mohilak gyd diay?
Ug naguba ang moment. I remembered nga naa man diay koy kuyog nga Homo Habilis.
Me : Shut up.
Micheal : So mao na siya ang ferris wheel ( gitudlo ang ferris wheel) mutuyok na siya.
Me : Oh my gosh *sabay hapak* shut up. Kahibaw ko uy!
Micheal : Hahahaha nya mao ni ang vikings. Mao ni pinakaeasy. So diri ta magsugod.
So nanakay nami sa Vikings kay easy ra man daw. Easy sa iyahang nawng huhuhu
Nanaog nami.
Micheal : HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Grabe ka. basin naabot sa school imong shagit makahibaw sila nga wala ta nangapil sa Intrams HAHAHAHAH
The adrenaline has not left my body. Mura najud ug jelly ace ako tuhod. Nya akong hair, oh my gosh , my precious hair .
Micheal : Pwede na ka i-cast sa Lion King. HAHAHAHA
Nitutok ra jud ko niya. Speechless pako pero sa kong brain gimurder na nako siya. Matuk an palang ni siya uy.
Mamatay na jd siyag kinatawa , with matching hawak sa tiyan.
I just rolled eyes at him. Gosh I hate this guy. Crazy.
Ug kay nasakyan naman nako ang Vikings nga pinaka easy, the other rides were much easier. After 4 rides , we decided to eat. He took me to one stall nga nag offer og grilled foods.
Mao to siya ra man daw moorder so nilingkod nasd ko. After ordering nitapad siya nako. Nitan aw siya nako with a trace of smile on his lips. I just looked at him annoyed.
Me : What ? Manungog nasd ka?
And yeah, he laughed again.
Ugghh crazy guy .
Micheal : Hahaha sorry sige dili na ko mukatawa. Haahahhahaha
My cheeks were heating na jd at this point. How dare he laugh at me?
Ug naabot na among order. It was the usual Filipino grilled foods. I've tasted some of them, kanang meat sa baboy and chicken, and also the blocks of chicken blood. But he also ordered head sa chicken and feet - which I have no plans of trying.
But mao man iyaha ghatag uy??
Me : No no no. I dont like that.
Micheal : But this is what I ordered for you.
I looked at him horribly. And as usual he laughed. And gave me the chicken pork.
He sure loves to get ugly reactions put of me.
Then we continued with rides and playing at booths.
Last namo nga gisakyan is ferris wheel. Everytime we were on top, the view never fails to amaze me, I love how the wind caresses my hair, up here I feel like I'm free from all the expectations, from all pressure. I looked at the Homo Habilis beside me and his eyes got big. Ayay, nanaway napd ni.
Me: What???
Micheal : Hahaha It's just that it's my first time seeing you smile at me.
And I was taken aback. I was smiling at him?
Me : I wasn't smiling.
Micheal : -.- Sure you were.
He looked at me straight in the eye.
Micheal : Your lips are curved, dimples are showing, your eyes are sparkling,
I was about to smile but -
Micheal : But your hair is a mess HAHAHAHA
I rolled my eyes at him. How many times have I rolled my eyes at this guy?
I looked away and looked at the view, the sun was setting. It's breathtaking.
Me : So beautiful. (whisper)
Then I hear Micheal say , "Yes , beautiful indeed."
I looked at him, he was looking ........ at me.
Then there's silence. Awkward.
Out of nowhere I suddenly said,
Me : You know the first ferris wheel was created by an engineer named George Ferris hence the name. He created it to match the glory of the Eiffel Tower --
I looked at Micheal again and saw him smiling at me. Then he laughed, hard.
Me : Ugggh what again?
Micheal : ( He shaked his head ) You're such a nerd.
Me : And your not?
Micheal just laughed again.
Crazy.
When it was around 5, it was time to go. Before we parted ways, gikablit ko niya.
Micheal : Did you have fun?
Me : Hmmm gamay.
Micheal laughed.
Micheal : I hope you were happy. Here * he gave me a key chain from the amusement park * and then he turned his back.
I wanted to say thank you but nilayo nalang siya wala ko kastorya.
I looked at the keychain and held it close to my heart and I whispered , thank you.
Ug nitalikod ko padung sa amoang house. I can't help but smile. I just had the best day of my life, and I spent it with the enemy.
The next day, pagdayung naog nako sa jeep, which was atbang ra sa amoang gate, I saw him, Micheal. He did not see me yet. So I was planning to approach him to say thank you but gaduha duha ko kay mauwaw ko. But he beat me to it. Pagkakita niya nako nismile siya then he approached me.
Micheal : Hi Court! Gipatawag ka sa principals office.
I was shocked.
Me : What? Why?
Micheal : Kay naabot jd lage daw imo shagit diri gahapon HAHAHAHAH
Me : Hercules give me strength . *sabay hapak niyag taman*
Micheal : Hahaha Let's go?
Me : Where? Amusement park?
Micheal : Hahahaha ayy grabe ka ihas. Nope princess. Manan aw ta ug theatrical play.
Me : 😑 Ayy okay.
But then I realized something did he just call me Princess??? Close mi? Friends mi???? As we were walking together people were looking at us. I guess wala sila maanad that were together. Wala man ge ko maanad nga were together.
So we watch the play together. It was great .Some of them were my classmates. But I realized , I dont even know their names and to think 4th year nami. Where have I been all these years?
After sa theater we decided to sit sa bench. It was the bench kung asa ko niya gi Congratulate sauna.
Me : Ngano imo ning gbuhat?
Micheal : Ang?
Me : Oh come on. I've never been nice to you. We are enemies.
He just tsked.
Micheal : Sama sa akong gsulti sauna, I never looked at you as my enemy. Ikaw ra man. Kusog kayka mang snob pag elementary. Hahaha
Me : Whatever.
Micheal : Seriously Court , I never considered you my enemy. Pag Grade 6 palang nato bilib na kaayo ko nimo ato. You were really smart.
Me: Oh whatever. You were smarter anyway.
Micheal : It doesnt matter Court. I did not understand at first why you seem to hate me. But I get it , you saw me as your rival because you were pressured -
Me : Stop.
Micheal : Courtney listen. I want you to know that its okay. You are an excellent girl. I admire how passionate you are about everything you do. And I admire how much you love your parents.
I don't know why but nakahilak ko. This guy, whom I've hated for years is here telling me all the things I've always wanted to hear, to know that I am appreciated.
Micheal hugged me. It was the first time someone ever hugged me. It was warm and comfortable. My heart is beating so fast.
I've hated him for years. I've only got to know him for days but do I already like the enemy?
