So Hello. I read some comments saying nga never ma Valedictorian ang transferee. Never? Or are you basing it on isolated cases? Btw he was a transferee from a different branch of the same school. 😉 I think each academic institution defines their own policy regarding this. Do not generalize. Anyway, if u think I'm lying u can always skip.

If you think that we got close after that encounter, ah well nope. We were back to square one the days after. He did not approach nor tried to talk to me again after that. While ako,I was too shy to even look at him. I could only imagine what I looked like crying in front of him. But something has changed. I dont know what or why but before I dont spare a chance of rolling my eyes at him or giving him a death glare when he looks at me. But now when our eyes meet, I can't even stare at him for too long. I immediately look away. It's like I'm intimidated. This is not a good sign. I feel like I'm showing my weakness to the enemy. Maybe now he thinks , I don't hate him anymore. Well ,he thought wrong.
Ff. 2 months after. Gipatawag ko sa among Social Studies teacher. Pag abot nako sa iya office, Micheal was there. Nahibong kunuhay ko but I kept an icy stare at him. The teacher informed us that next month , there will be a Popquiz. Abi nako nga team mates mi ni Micheal. But it turned out nga after 3 days , i kontra ming duha ug kinsa juy ipadala sa Popquiz. I was nervous but at the same time motivated to do my best para ako ang makadaog.
The next day, during sa among vacant time, I went to the library. As I was reading review questions nya trying to answer them, naa koy usa nga nalisdan , need man gd sha isolve nya dili baya ko maayo sa Math. I was having a really hard time. Suddenly, someone handed a piece of paper, I looked at the person and oh, it was Micheal nga nagtalikod na padung gawas sa Library. When I looked at the paper , it was the solution sa problem. Namuwa ko. Like what the ? Is this an insult? But oh well, if were really in war, he's giving me guns.
Pag day na sa contest. It was a close fight. Sa difficult round he was ahead by 3 points. Down to the last question which was 5 points so if i get it right and he gets it wrong I win. And to my disappointment, ang question is calculation. But I was able to solve it with a heavy heart knowing whats about to happen next. I looked at Micheal , I don't know why but he looked at me with sad eyes tho he was smiling. I knew he got it right. But when we raised our answers , surprisingly he got it wrong. I was shocked. It can't be. I know this because he was the one who showed me how to manipulate the formula on this types of problems. The teacher congratulated both of us.
Nidool si Micheal nako and he said Congratulations as well. Nya nilakaw. I went after him.
Me: Why ?
Micheal : Why what?
Me : Kahibaw ko sa imong gbuhat Micheal. You did it wrong on purpose. Why would u do that for me? Were enemies.
Nihunong ug lakaw si Micheal. Nya niatubang nako. He had a serious look and I was intimidated. I can feel the heat on my cheeks.
Micheal : Kinsa may gaingon nimo nga enemy tika?
And then he walked away.
After that as usual wala mi interaction na ni Micheal.
Ff . 4th year nami. The year that would change my life forever. We're having a field trip sa usa ka local nga pharmaceuticals company. After sa trip namo didto, upon going home, we had a stop over sa usa ka family park . I sat by the bench, while my classmates were busy with their phones. I was just there looking at a family playing sa swing. The father was playing with his son. While the Mom, prepared their meal. Yes, I am jealous at how some families can be this happy no matter how simple their life is. Nothing fancy with their food or clothes but they are happy. I wonder how it feels like if Dada played with me at parks like these before. So I went and sat by an empty swing. Nidool si Micheal and sat by the swing beside mine.
Micheal : Karon paka kaanhi?
Me : *wala nitingog for a few seconds* Yeah. Karon pa.
Micheal : Kaila kag amusement park?
Me : * i looked at him angrily* Of course!
Micheal : Hahahaha Have you been to one?
Me : *looking down* No.
Micheal then just stared at me for a fe seconds.
Micheal : Ganahan ka makaadtog amusement park?
Me : Why?
Micheal : Tomorrow our Intramural starts. We can skip some activities and go to an amusement park if you want.
My jaw dropped and I looked at him like he just pooped in front of me.
Micheal was not looking at me anymore. He's looking in front of him with HAHAHA red colored ears. I laughed at him.
Micheal looked at me with annoyed eyes.
Micheal : Tss so unsa?
Me : Di ko katoo nimo. Were not close but here u are asking me to go with you on a .... date?!
Micheal : What? Di ni date uy. Malooy rako nimo kay ihas kaayu ka.
Akong nawng napd ang naguba. Unsaa daw??? He laughed at me.
Nilakaw ko uy. Ihas sa iyang nawng
So nanguli nami ato. Pag drop off na s school nidool si Micheal nako. Diretso niyang gkuha akong kamot nya gbutngan ug something. Pagtan aw nako, it was one hello chocolate bar and a note that says , " 10 AM tomorrow , near Gate 1."
Nitaas akung usa ka kilay. He's that confident nga mukuyog ko? Di jud ko mukuyog.

The next day, at 9:40 AM palang padung nako sa Gate 1. Dili ko tantung excited. Im just an early bird, a really early bird. But Oh my god,layo palang nakit an naman nako siya uy HAHAHA naa napd siya didto. I guess were both early birds huh ?
When he saw me, his ears turned red again. Hahaha Gikataw an nako siyag balik.
Nya pagkita niya nga nikatawa ko, gisugat ko niya nya sabay ingon,
Micheal : Katawa man ka? Excited kaayu ka no? Ihas gyd nimo uy.
Me : Really? Ako pa ang excited? Ikaw man ge gauna diri. *nikatawa nsd*
He looked annoyed. Ahh victory 😂
Micheal : Tana uy! Kay para makaila nakag amusement park.
I rolled my eyes while laughing. Then off we go.
